Installation instructionsThanks to the circulation pump, the pool water can cross directly into the Solar Collector. Inside the collector, the pool water recovers heat of the sun. As a result, the pool water has a higher temperature than it had when it entered.
As the Solerpool Solar Collector is assembled inside the factory, there is no need to link the EPDM solar tubes and the joining tube. You only have to unroll the collector spools as a mere carpet and join the « union links » of the joining tubes together.
Our self adhesive mastic allows you to mount the collector on a tile or zinc or slate roof. The fixing clips (peg clip or nail clip) allow you to bind the collector on a concrete floor (assuming the ground has no waterproof solution) or a wooden structure. On a roof terrace with a waterproof bitumen, you must insulate the collector from the bitumen surface with a plastic film. For a roof terrace surrounded by a wall, you don’t have to attach the collector except in extreme conditions. In such cases, ballasting or strapping would be required. Directly set on the ground, the collector doesn’t need to be affixed, except in the case of high pitch. Soft straps or small tent stakes are efficient and cheap in that case. A black plastic film is required under the collector to avoid vegetable growth.
To start, you can choose between :
To connect the Solar Collector you can use the filtration system or pump the water into the pool if you have a capture nozzle. The Collector can be assembled in two ways : by combining the solar tubes circuit or by separating the solar tubes circuit. Please, select your preferred option when ordering.
